Hello there; I'm Claire.

I am a graphic designer and illustrator currently based in Chicago.

I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2019 with dual majors in Visual Communication Design and Psychology.

My unique range of academic interests allows me to pursue my passion in design and marketing with a larger understanding of how humans function within the microcosms of daily interactions, but also within a larger, global society. I have gained a deep insight into appreciating how design influences us by appealing to our cognitive, social, and developmental psychologies. I pair this knowledge with my strong work ethic, creativity, and writing skills to generate self-assertive designs.

Throughout my design process and everyday life, I draw inspiration from personal hobbies and passions: running, exploring nature, playing the guitar, laughter, writing, friendships, song lyrics, adventuring, music, watercolor doodling, transcendentalist poetry, flowers, and people. 

In short, I wish to use design and other manners of visual expression to promote positivity across a spectrum of matters, solving problems through my developed mechanism of design thinking and communication.
