The overall purpose of this infographic piece was to communicate data or information to a viewer, moving in time and space. Data and information from a reputable source (news, government, nonprofit, etc), were to be chosen and depicted in a time piece between 30 – 50 seconds. I chose to focus on positive outcomes of Giant Panda conservation action measures, as aided by the WWF. All illustrations were hand-created in Adobe Illustrator with a simple and whimsical theme; emphasis was first placed on development of annotated story-boards to aid readability and interest in the piece, then uniformity in transitions and color schemes, as well as typeface hierarchy.
